AWA-AFRICA serves women, children, and youth in
conflict-affected and displacement-affected
communities

across Unity, Upper Nile, Jonglei, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, and Northern Bahr el Ghazal,
survivors of violence, displacement, and structural exclusion.

We believe that restoring dignity to women and children affected by conflict, equipping them with the tools to heal, learn, and become self-reliant, is the foundation of true community transformation, and this belief is demonstrated through our direct, on-the-ground work in GBV protection, education, and livelihood support across South Sudan’s most underserved communities.

Mission

To deliver inclusive humanitarian services in health, education, food security, livelihoods, and essential non-food items to women and children in rural and urban communities, with the goal of restoring their dignity, resilience, and hope.
